Namkeen/Dry Snack


Ingredients :

2 Cups Maida
1/2 Cup Ghee/Oil
1 Tsp Red Chili Powder
1 Tsp Ajwain/Carom Seeds
1 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
Salt to taste
Water to knead the dough
Oil to deep fry

1. Mix all the dry ingredients till the ghee blends with the Maida.
2. Now knead the dough with warm water. The dough should not be very soft nor too hard.
3. Divide the dough in equal size balls and roll them thin circles, cut them in diamond shapes or squares and deep fry on low flame till light brown and crisp.
4. Cool and store in a air tight container for upto 5 days.
